We Provide Tree Stump Grinding that is Quick, Clean and Safe
Should It Stay or Should It Go? We Remove Stumps!
Stumps they’re the nobby bottoms left over from trees cut down. While some landowners aren’t bothered by them, others choose to grind them down for various reasons; those being:
- They’re aesthetically unpleasing: Once the tree itself is a gone, a stump on its own can look somewhat awkward and incomplete on its own. Those who find enjoyment in pristine landscaping would do well to have them removed.
- They can be safety hazards: Depending on a stumps location it could become a nuisance to neighbors, children and pedestrians who inadvertently trip over it. Not to mention, accidentally mowing over one could really screw up your lawn mower.
- They can cause unwanted tree growth: In some cases, stumps can sprout, resulting in the growth of many small trees around it. Not only is this a potential eyesore, but the process for removing the sprouts can be quite time consuming, requiring special chemical treatments.
- They attract insects: As a stump goes through its natural decaying process, it commonly attracts ants, beetles and other wood-loving critters. If the stump in question is close to the house, it may be beneficial to grind it to prevent them coming inside.
Stump grinding is a fairly straight forward process, accomplished with a very powerful tool the stump grinding machine (you’d think there’d be a more original name, but no). Before beginning, we’ll assess the location, troubleshoot any potential safety hazards (under and above ground) and finally, put protective barriers in place to ensure flying debris won’t harm nearby surroundings.
