We Care About Your Trees

The good news we don’t have to trim our trees that often.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, trees should ideally be pruned once a year during the dormant season. For most tree species, this means trimming in the winter and early spring (as always, there are exceptions).

There are several reasons it may be time for a trim:

Safety: Sometimes the trees we love end up growing a little too much for our comfort. This can mean obstructing visibility for pedestrians and vehicles alike or simply, hovering too close to a roof. Other times, mother nature comes along, unexpectedly breaking branches near power-lines. In such instances, trimming is a necessity.

The Wise Choice for Tree Care!

Tree Health: Did you know that trimming trees encourages them to develop stronger core structures to withstand harsh weather? And removing those dead and/or diseased branches is just good long-term maintenance.

Beauty: One of the best parts of being a homeowner is having a beautiful surrounding to come home to every day. Trimming can accentuate the beauty of your trees, while simultaneously giving your home front an instant make-over.

Our 4-Step Approach to Healthy Trees

No matter why you’re choosing to have your trees trimmed, we approach every project with the same 4-part process:

  1. Complete Tree Analysis
Since no two trees are exactly alike, neither are our services. Each project begins with a detailed observation of the trees on site. From there, we determine the kinds of species we’ll be working with, the types of techniques to be used and any peculiarities that need be taken into consideration (ie. trees that are positioned in precarious/unsafe areas).
  2. Equipment Sourcing
Equipment needs vary from site to site, but usually include the following:

Ladders, safety harnesses, climbing ropes, saws (chain, hand and/or pole), pruners, rakes, tarps, blowers, hardhats, safety glasses and earplugs.

      3. Tree Trimming
The tree trimming process usually involves 2 to 4 workers and is finished the same day it is started. Yards with larger tree populations may take a             little longer. Regardless, all projects are completed as quickly as possible.
       4. Clean-Up
Whether you hired us to trim your trees for their health, your aesthetic pleasure or for basic safety we pride ourselves on leaving your yard more                 beautiful than we found it. That means properly clearing all debris once the job’s complete. We’ll dispose of cut branches and rake your yard                       clean so you don’t have to do anything but enjoy your trees.
